Our Story

The Story of Survivors

In The Beginning

In the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombings, those of us who survived the attack received an incredible amount of love and support from people around the world like you. We will never forget how the Semper Fi Fund, a group of veterans injured in Iraq and Afghanistan, came to Boston to provide personal mentorship and guidance to survivors who suffered similar injuries.

Their presence helped us believe in a positive future when we needed it the most. The long-term relationships that developed also helped us move through the healing process, both physically and emotionally, much more quickly.

Our Vision

We are deeply grateful for the outpouring of support we received during our darkest hours. It was this support that gave us hope and helped us to heal. Now, we feel privileged to have the opportunity to "pay it forward" by providing this invaluable service to others who have experienced similar hardships.

Our ultimate goal is to create a global community of survivors who are dedicated to helping others impacted by terrorism, hate, or trauma in their time of need. We believe that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who are struggling and provide them with the support they need to heal and thrive.

"Running Boston, a race that has now happened 127 times, will always feel different than running any other marathon."
